Overview

A production payment workflow with secure transaction processing, banking-style integration boundaries, auditability, and recurring compliance-focused upgrades.

Business Problem

Payment systems need reliability, traceability, controlled access, and low-risk upgrade paths without interrupting business operations.

Constraints

Fully implemented on AWS with production-oriented deployment, operational support, and compliance-focused upgrade planning.

My Role

Backend engineer supporting secure integration design, implementation, regression planning, and production upgrade cycles.

Architecture

API-first workflow with explicit request/response contracts, SQL Server-backed traceability, audit logging, access controls, and operational failure handling.

Technical Decisions

Implemented backend payment workflows, integration contracts, validation, audit-oriented controls, regression planning, and annual upgrade support that passed stringent third-party security testing.

Implementation

Fully implemented on AWS with production-oriented deployment, operational support, and compliance-focused upgrade planning.

Results

Improved trust in recurring payment-platform upgrades by keeping security testing, release planning, and production continuity central to the work.
